How Wings over
Took Flight

Wings over started with a simple but powerful idea: that wings over a plate of bold, saucy, perfectly-cooked chicken wings could bring people together like nothing else. Our founder, Marcus Webb, grew up tasting every wing joint in the United States and knew Boston was missing something truly special.

"I didn't want to just open another wing spot. I wanted to create a place where every single wing tells a story of craft, passion, and flavor that stays with you."

In 2010, Marcus opened the first Wings over kitchen on Huntington Ave with nothing more than a dream, a few secret sauce recipes, and an old fryer. Word spread fast. Within six months, lines stretched down the block. Today, Wings over is synonymous with bold, wingsover-style cooking — a destination experience that goes far beyond just a meal.

Every sauce is crafted in-house, every wing is sourced fresh daily, and every customer is treated like family. That original spirit from 2010 still drives everything we do at Wings over in the United States.
